SUKKUR: TB patient commits suicide

SUKKUR, Oct 6: Khair Mohammad, 25, son of Mir Sahib Dino Talpur, a resident of Kandhra, Rohri taluka, committed suicide by jumping into the Nara canal on Thursday. The deceased was a TB patient and was tired of his illness.

His body was taken out by divers after an hour. Meanwhile, one person was killed and two others were injured in road accidents, near Kandhra, this evening. Wazir Ahmed, a passer-by, came under the wheels of a trawler and died on the spot.

Niaz Mohammad and Mir Khan Pathan were injured when a wagon hit them at the old Sukkur chowk. Police arrested the wagon driver.
