GUJAR KHAN: Two young men were shot dead in separate incidents in the jurisdiction of Gujar Khan police on Sunday.

According to Station House Officer Inspector Malik Khizar Hayat, the main suspects in both the incidents have been arrested.

The SHO said a citizen complained to the police that his 21-year-old son Shahryar was working as a labourer in the construction of a graveyard in his native village of Kohal. On Sunday noon, Asad Qayum and Shafqat Qayum shot Shahryar dead, he alleged.

The complainant said the suspects had exchanged harsh words with his son a few days ago. The SHO said Asad Qayum has been arrested.

In the second incident, Mohammad Qasim, 21, was killed and Musa Khan was injured when some people opened fire on them in Sandal area of Gujar Khan on Sunday evening.
