THE prime minister has changed the portfolio of federal minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed from railways to the interior. Apparently, the gentleman has been rewarded with the interior ministry on the basis of his publicly acknowledged, stellar and impeccable merit-oriented performance related to Pakistan Railways. May we witness ever greater feats of meritocracy in the future!
