Pakistan has recorded 3,795 coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, marking the fifth straight day of more than 3,000 infections. It was also the highest daily total since July 2 when the country reported 4,087 cases.

The countrywide breakdown is as follows:

  • Punjab: 807 cases
  • Sindh: 2,013 cases
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 456 cases
  • Balochistan: 26 cases
  • Islamabad: 402 cases
  • Gilgit Baltistan: 13 cases
  • Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 78

Thirty-seven people died from the virus in the last 24 hours.
