ABBOTTABAD: A motorcycle rally was held here on Sunday to create awareness about the importance of vaccination of children against polio.

Organised by the Rotary Club Abbottabad, the rally started from the China Plaza and concluded at the Amir Shaheed Chowk after passing through different bazaars of the city.

Sheikh Nisar Ahmed, a representative of the Rotary Club, said the club would make all out efforts to make Pakistan polio-free. The rally was organised a day before the start of an anti-polio drive on Monday (today).

Prominent figures, including Sardar Shah Nawaz, Tariq Khan Tanoli, Sardar Javed, Bilal Ahmed, Sardar Momin and Sheikh Ahmed Mujtaba, were also present on the occasion.
