ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Mohammad Shoaib thrashed Roy Keegan of Great Britain to reach the final of General Tyre ITF J5 Junior Tennis Championship here at PTF Complex on Friday.

Shoaib prevailed in their semi-final with a scoreline of 6-2, 6-1 to set up the title-decider against Rohan Belday after the American down Hamid Israr of Pakistan 6-3, 6-2 in the other last-four tie.

Girls’ singles: Abhilasha Bista (Nepal) btEkaterina Suvorova (Russia) 7-6 (7-5), 2-6, 6-2; Arina Valitova (Russia) btZoha Asim (Pakistan) 6-0, 6-0.

Girls’ doubles: Zoha Asim (Pakistan)/Ekaterina Suvorova (Russia) bt Zara Khan/Fatima Ali Raja (Pakistan) 6-2, 6-2; Abhilasha Bista (Nepal)/ Arina Valitova (Russia) bt Saher Aleem/Sheeza Sajid (Pakistan) 6-0,6-1.
