Man shot dead

RAWALPINDI: A man was shot dead when he was withdrawing cash from an automated teller machine (ATM) in Dheri Hassanabad on Wednesday.

According to police, Tazeem Khan, 30, had just entered the ATM when a stranger followed him inside and threatened him to give up cash. During the scuffle, Khan was shot twice as a result of which he died on the spot. The suspect managed to escape. The investigating officer said CCTV footage had been obtained and the suspect would be arrested soon.
