HYDERABAD, Jan 20: In the on-going crackdown against criminals, 13 men were arrested in raids on various areas the other day. Arms and ammunitions and stolen vehicles were also recovered from their possession.

The Tando Jam police arrested Murad Umrani of Larkana and M. Siddiqui Umrani of Gari Khairo, Jacobabad. A single barrel gun and a double barrel gun were recovered from their possession along with live cartridges.

The district police also arrested Abdur Rasheed Shaikh, M. Siddique Bhatti, Anwar Ali, and Pir Bux Kapri. Two cars and a tractor were recovered from their possession.

Four men — Siraj Arain, M. Yousuf Makrani, Abdul Waheed, and Muso Panhwar — were arrested in a raid for possessing contraband goods.

In another raid, three men — Quasim Shah, Mubarik Ali Chhalgari, and Asghar Ali were arrested and illegal weapons and live bullets were recovered from their possession.

FINAL LIST: The director admissions, University of Sindh, here on Saturday notified the second final list of the candidates provisionally selected in masters degree programme in the quota oriented and general disciplines (including the districts of the upper Sindh), female reserved seats, Sindh University employees reserved seats and the top ten (commerce group) students slected for MBA.

The lists are displayed at the notice boards of the Sindh University Model School, Hyderabad, and the SU administration building, Jamshoro.
