HYDERABAD: A former Hyderabad emir of Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) Shaikh Shaukat Ali, 80, was among three coronavirus patients that died in the city since Monday night. He breathed his last at the Liaquat University Hospital (LUH) on Tuesday.
According to the LUH focal person on Covid-19, Dr Aftab Phull, the two other patients were a 75-year-old resident of Fakir Ka Pir, who died at his home on Tuesday, and a 90-year-old resident of Hyderabad city, who died at the hospital on Monday night.
