ISLAMABAD: A man was killed and another injured during a clash over a petty issue in capital’s rural area, police said on Wednesday.
In-charge homicide unit Rural Zone Inspector Munir Ahmed told Dawn that the deceased ran a pigeons shop in Koral area. One of his pigeons was captured by a boy residing in the same locality, he said, adding when he asked him to return the bird, the boy refused which resulted in a clash between him and the boy’s family.
Relatives of the boy opened fire on the victim as a result he and another man suffered bullet injuries. Both were shifted to hospital where the shopkeeper died while the other was serious.
