LAHORE, Sept 29: Half-centuries by Shweta Jadhay and Rumeli Dhar enabled India-21 women cricket team take an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the four match series against Pakistan women team after the visitors won the second match by 30 run at the Bagh-i-Jinnah ground on Thursday.

Jadhay scored 57, including nine boundaries while Dhar contributed an unbeaten 56 that was laced with five hits to the fence as India reached a impressive 207 for three in 40 overs.

Pakistan, in reply, were restricted to 177 for six despite a fine innings of 60 by opening batswoman Sana Javed.

Apart from Sana, who hammered eight fours and one six, only skipper Shamsa Hashmi (41 not out, two sixes and two fours) and Arman Khan (26 off 21 balls with three fours and one six) managed to make significant contributions.

Put into bat, the Indians made a splendid start through Karuna Jain and Jadhay who added 87 for the opening wicket.

Dhar was then involved in another productive partnership of 64 with Diana David for the third-wicket.

Dhar completed a fine all-round performance by taking two for 28.
