Woman held with drugs

LAHORE, Sept 29: Punjab ANF claimed on Thursday to have arrested an alleged lady smuggler and seized 38kg drugs.

Punjab ANF acting Commander Col Abid Maqsood said he had deployed special teams in Shahdara on information that the woman had been supplying drugs there. Identified as Shakeela Begum, alias Seela, the woman was caught red-handed when she left her house with four kg heroin to supply it to a drug pusher, the commander said.

She was taken to her house from where the police recovered another 30kg hash and four kg chemicals used in drugs, besides two pistols.— Staff Reporter
