The Sindh home department has issued a code for safe conduct of Eid Miladun Nabi celebrations in the province in light of the SOPs issued by the National Command and Operation Centre.

According to the code of conduct, the venues for Mehfil-i-Milad and Seerat conferences should be open and ventilated, and social distancing and wearing of masks should be ensured. The entry and exit of participants should be strictly regulated, while the elderly, children and people with comorbidities should be encouraged to attend the events through live streaming.

The SOPs mandate that the number of participants in Rabiul Awwal processions be kept "reasonable" and procession timings should be curtailed.

As per the code, in view of "consistently increasing positivity" in various cities and districts, the district administrations in consultation with health authorities may limit Eid Miladun Nabi celebrations.
