KURRAM: Four members of a family, a Frontier Corps soldier among them, were killed and two children injured when unidentified gunmen opened fire on a moving vehicle in Shalozan area of Kurram district here on Monday.

As a result of firing, Eng Asad Ali, Yadullah, Ayan Haider (child) and FC man Sadiq Hussain died on the spot, while two other children, Safdar Abbas and Anum Fatima, travelling with them were injured.

The police launched an operation soon after the incident and arrested six accused.
