A TUG of war has been going on since the current government came to power. Is it all going to somehow benefit the common man? That really can’t be the case.

The year 2020 has been one of unimaginable travails because of the Covid-19 pandemic. In such situations, civilised societies unite and forget about past animosities to rebuild the nation. The ruling parties go the extra mile to carry the opposition along, which, unfortunately, is not the case in our context.

The beauty of a democratic society lies in dialogue. Reconciliation should be the key features of our politics. One hopes things will change soon for the better.
