THE Quaid-i-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology, Nawabshah, and its Larkana campus have still not been registered by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) since its upgradation to the level of university.
The ambiguous status of the university is a matter of great concern for graduating students and those who have graduated in the last few years.
They study day and night to achieve good grades and pursue engineering as their passion. Their dreams are shattered when after four years of hard work they receive a degree whose acceptability in the job market or academia is debatable.
The HEC should do the needful and provide relief to the affected students.
