TOBA TEK SINGH: Most of the Gojra railway station building is in a dilapidated condition and endangers the lives of railway employees as well as passengers.

The building was declared rundown by the railways authorities three years ago, but funds were never allocated to repair or reconstruct it.

The railway station staff told reporters that the higher authorities had been informed who assured them the railway station building will be reconstructed in a couple of months.

Citizens have urged their elected representatives to meet Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid and apprise him of the precarious condition of the building.
