QUETTA: Three people, including a woman, were killed and five others injured in a collision between a truck and three other vehicles on Quetta-Chaman highway near the Yaro area of Pishin district on Saturday.

Levies Force officials said that three vehicles which were coming from Pishin and Quetta collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction at the Yaro turn, resulting in the death of three persons on the spot.

Levies Force personnel rushed to the site soon after receiving information about the accident and took the dead and injured to Civil Hospital, Quetta. The accident took place due to over-speeding.

The deceased were identified as Dolat Bibi, Gul Mohammad and Abdul Rauf, while Mohammad Yousaf, Mohammad Umar, Zahoor Ahmed, Mehmood Khan and Abdul were injured.
