AHF women umpires seminar

KARACHI, Sept 26: Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) women umpires seminar would be held at a local hotel on Sept 28-Oct 2, a spokesman for the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) said on Monday.

Umpires from Iran, India, Singapore and Pakistan have been invited to attend. Singapore Hockey Association has, however, regretted they can not attend the course, he said.

Former Indian international Suman Lata was the first woman to arrive here for the five-day seminar, while Ms Kamiski Masako of Japan, who would conduct and supervise the course, had also arrived, he said.

Tooba Ilbeigi Asli, Shahla Bashhtasbi Nia (Iran), Rahat Khan, Razia Rizvi, Humaira Masoor, Ayesha and Romana besides other Pakistani umpires will attend the course.—APP
