Punjab has reported 122 new Covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours — the second day in a row that it has recorded more than 100 cases. According to the government's database for tracking the spread of coronavirus in the country, this has taken the provincial tally of cases to 101,014.

The province has also confirmed six additional fatalities from the virus for the second day, taking the provincial death toll to 2,270. According to the database, 97,972 people have recovered in Punjab so far.
