Oman has started the enforcement of a countrywide night lockdown from 8pm to 5am, Gulf News reported.
The lockdown, which began on Sunday evening, will remain in place until Oct 24 and aims to control rising coronavirus cases in the country.
The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has also begun closing beaches and monitoring implementation of the lockdown.
