A total of 146 restaurants and nine marriage halls have been sealed in Karachi due to violations of coronavirus standard operating procedures (SOPs) over the last three days, according to data released by the Karachi commissioner's office.
The administration also closed four schools in the city's South district as well as 10 shops and factories for not complying with the health guidelines.
Fines worth nearly Rs1 million were also imposed on various establishments across the city, the data showed.
