MUZAFFARGARH: Jatoi police on Friday arrested a fake doctor and his three accomplices for raping the minor helper at his clinic for seven months and making videos of the crime to blackmail the victim.

According to the victim boy’s father, his son (13) was a student of 8th class and worked as a helper in the clinic of the quack after school.

The boy tried to commit suicide on Sept 27 but the attempt was thwarted by the family.

When asked about the reason for suicide, the boy told his family that the quack, who was known as doctor in the area, and his three accomplices had been raping him for the last seven months.

The complainant told the police as the boy during work at the clinic, his son was raped by the quack many times while his friends accompanied him too on several occasions. The alleged rapists made videos of their crime and blackmailed the victim to stop him from telling his family about his ordeal.

The main rapist threatened the boy that he would poison the whole family if he told anyone.

On Friday, the boy’s father reached Jatoi Police Station and complained to SHO Shahid Rizwan.

The police registered a case against the doctor and three of his identified accomplices and arrested them.

District Police Officer Muhammad Hassan Iqbal said the victim would be sent to hospital for medical examination.
