KARACHI: US Consul General Robert Silberstein called on Karachi Administrator Iftikhar Ali Shallwani on Thursday at the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) building and discussed with him matters of mutual interests.

Official sources said that the US envoy told the administrator that the his country would cooperate with the city administration in the education, health and infrastructure sectors.

He also offered his country’s support in the uplifting of parks and libraries in the city.

Later, the envoy visited the historical KMC building.

US Economic Unit Chief Crsitie Di Lasico also accompanied Mr Silberstein.
