MUZAFFARGARH: The 17th death anniversary of late Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan was held in his hometown of Khangarh on Saturday. Dozens of people offered prayers for the departed soul.

Talking to the media, MPA Nawabzada Mansoor Ahmad Khan said Nawab sahab was a great person and had devoted his life to democracy.

Nawabzada Nasrullah’s elder son Mansoor had merged his father’s Pakistan Democratic Party with the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) in 2017 and the younger son, Nawabzada Iftikhar, had joined the PPP with his group. Mansoor had become an MPA on a PTI ticket while Iftikhar won the MNA’s election from the PPP.

Both brothers held separate prayers for their father.
