Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has directed the provincial education department to ensure that educational institutions, both public and private, were following standard operating procedures laid out to curb Covid-19 spread.
“The institutions, public or private, that violate the SOPs must be brought to book,” he declared, while chairing a meeting to review the coronavirus situation in Sindh.
When told that schools had been closed for not observing health guidelines, Shah expressed displeasure and directed Education Minister Saeed Ghani to take action against any institution that was not following SOPs.
