Asia Cup venue decision next month

LAHORE, Sept 23: Representatives of Sri Lankan and Indian women cricket wings will arrive here on Oct 10 to take a decision about holding the first Asia Cup in Lahore this December. During their stay in the city both Ms Gwen Herat, vice-president of the Sri Lankan women wing and Ms Shabahangi Kulkarni, secretary of Indian women cricket would meet their Pakistani counterpart Mera Phailbus to take decisions.

Meanwhile, a Delhi Women U-21 team would arrive on Sept 26 for a three-match series in Lahore against Pakistan.

The first match will be played at the Aitchison College ground on Sept 28, the second at the Bagh-i-Jinnah on Sept 29 while the third at the Qadhafi Stadium on Oct 2.
