Four drown in Hub river, Lasbela canal

KHUZDAR: Four people drowned while taking bath in Hub river and Lasbela canal on Sunday, police said.

Three persons belonging to the Khada Market area came to Hub for picnic. While taking bath in the Hub river, they went into the deep water and drowned.

Edhi and Navy divers rushed to the site after receiving information about the incident. They recovered all the three bodies and shifted them to Jam Ghulam Qadir Hospital in Hub.

They were identified as Shahzed, Zubair and Sajjad.

In the other incident, a 20-year-old man, identified as Mohammad Khan, drowned in Lasbela canal while taking bath. He belonged to Magsi Goth in Malier. His body was recovered by Edhi rescue workers.

All the four bodies were handed over to the families.
