400 bottles of liquor seized

GUJRANWALA, Sept 23: Around 400 bottles of liquor being smuggled to Lahore from Jhelum by a car were seized by the National Highway and Motorway Police (NH&MP) which arrested an accused on GT Road near Muridke on Friday.

Reports said SSP Sardar Saeed Gul received information that a huge quantity of liquor was being smuggled to Lahore. On his direction, DSP Asad Abbas Shah foiled an attempt and arrested Gulfam Khan. —Correspondent
