Students, teacher escape roof collapse

SIALKOT, Sept 23: Students and their teacher had a narrow escape on Friday as the roof of a dilapidated classroom of the Government Boys Primary School, Sakror, Shakargarh tehsil, collapsed. It is learnt that the students were studying when the accident took place. Fortunately, no-one sustained serious injuries.

Headmaster Muhammad Akram told journalists at Zafarwal that he had brought the condition of the school building into the notice of education department high-ups but they did not pay any attention towards it.

Meanwhile, people have expressed grave concern over this incident and demanded that the government should take steps to avoid a serious accident in future.
