NORTH WAZIRISTAN: A land dispute between two brothers left four members of a family dead and two wounded in Mirali area of North Waziristan tribal district on Thursday.

A police official said that the incident took place in Epi area.

He said that the two brothers Mohammad Tahir and Zahiruddin had a land dispute which resulted in exchange of firing. As a result, Mohammad Tahir, his two sons Saddam and Shahid and daughter Basma were killed.

On the other side, Zahiruddin and his wife Sardara received bullet injuries. The wounded were taken to the district headquarters hospital in Miramshah.

The police said that the land disputes among the local people increased due to absence of revenue record.
