SAHIWAL, Sept 18: A man killed his daughter on suspicion of loose morals here on Saturday night at Chak 54/GD. Reports said Allah Yar suspected that his daughter ‘S’ had illicit relations and shot her dead.
Noorshah police have registered a case under Section 302 of the PPC and arrested Allah Yar.
GANG SMASHED: Farid Town police claimed on late Saturday to have smashed a robbers’ gang.
On a tip-off, the police conducted a raid at Chak 87/6-R and arrested ring leader Saleem and his accomplice Maani. While their another accomplice, Shahzad Gul, managed to escape.
Police recovered two illicit pistols, besides a motorcycle and cash.
A case has been registered.
