PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company has established a crisis management cell at the Wapda House here to ensure smooth power supply to consumers on the occasion of Eidul Azha.

According to a statement issued here on Friday, Pesco chief executive officer En Mohammad Jabbar Khan will supervise the performance of the cell and will issue necessary instructions to complete the restoration work without delay in case of any power failure due to technical faults.

It was stated that necessary equipment had been provided to all Pesco subdivisions and complaint centres to help tackle an emergency.

The Pesco chief directed the field formations to ensure uninterrupted power supply, saying all circles, divisional and sub-divisional complaint cells would also remain in operation to meet any emergency.

Similarly, the customers have been asked to have close liaison with the local complaint offices in case of any emergency.
