Livestock loan limit raised

LAHORE, Sept 17: The Punjab Provincial Cooperative Bank has raised the limit for livestock and dairy development loans from Rs150,000 to Rs500,000. Disclosing this in a statement issued here on Saturday Provincial Cooperatives Minister Col Malik Muhammad Anwar (retired) said the bank had advanced loans of Rs1.88 billion for the livestock and dairy development sector so far. The cooperative societies’ members as well as individual farmers can avail themselves of the loan facility.
