KARACHI: The city of Karachi will soon see a wonderful addition of another fully functional basketball court which is being renovated at the Alnoor Society and will soon stage regular basketball tournaments. This was stated on Tuesday by Chairman DMC Central Rehan Hashmi in a meeting with a KBBA delegation headed by Ghulam Mohammad Khan.

Rehan said he will himself visit the Alnoor Society Basketball Club in FB Area on Thursday to monitor the renovation work at the basketball courts there and will ensure that the courts are soon reopened for top level sports tournaments.

He added that DMC Central has always been in the forefront in producing tremendous sports talent in as well as organising regular sports events. “We have never let the sports grounds go barren in this region and even during Covid-19, DMC Central has organized several inline sports to keep the trend going and keep the sportpersons motivated,” said Rehan.

He praised Bills Basketball Club from his area which regularly participated in the KBBA events.

The basketball delegation also included Secretary Shehzad Qazi, sports organizer Asad Ibad and basketball player Ghulam Rasool.
