Khadija to lead Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Sept 16: Khadija Khalid will lead Pakistan swimming team in the 4th Islamic Women Games starting from Sept 22-28, 2005 in Iranian Capital, Tehran. Pakistan will take part in athletics, golf, shooting, swimming, judo, karate, taekwondo, badminton, squash, table tennis and tennis.

Pakistan Women’s Swimming Association (PWSA) had already announced a 15-member team for the Games.

Squad: Kiran Khan, Rubab Raza, Sana Wahid, Ayesha Tajwar, Anam Imtiaz, Rida Sabahat, Azalfa Shafi, Khadija Khalid, Aqsa Tariq, Ayza Khan Tareen, Saneen Zehra Shishmahal, Eesha Khan, Afia Shah, Anum Shahid Niaz. Officials: Sunbul Sadiq (coach), Liu Jiyun (foreign coach), Shah Begum Shahi (coach).
