Commanders meet today

ISLAMABAD, Oct 14: A two- day special meeting of the Corps Commanders will be held at GHQ in Rawalpindi from October 15.

The President and Chief of Army Staff General Pervez Musharraf will preside.

According to the sources, the president will brief the Corps Commanders on the situation obtaining after the US-led attacks on Afghanistan and its impact on Pakistan.

He will also take them into confidence before holding discussions with the US Secretary of State Colin Powell.—NNI
