Ghazanfar grabs gold

LAHORE Sept 15: Wapda earned its fifth gold medal when Ghazanfar Ali won the 90kg class event in the national ranking judo championships on Thursday. In all, 10 competitions were held in which Ghazanfar won three and drew one.

He drew against Saleem Butt (Police), and won against Javed (Wapda), Kashif (Army) and Arshad Sohna (Wapda).

Saleem Butt of Police snatched the silver medal while Arshad (Wapda) secured a bronze medal.

The competition in 100kg class will be held on Friday.
