PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has accused the government of lowering the coronavirus testing capacity under a "conspiracy" to show that infections in the country are falling.

"[PM] Imran Khan and his ministers make a mockery of themselves when they say our graph is going down ... if you stop testing then the graph will go down; you will not see patients, but the same amount of people will fall ill and die," he said at a press conference.

He said the government by allegedly not doing enough tests is putting the lives and health of people in more danger. "This is a conspiracy against the people. You are not fooling anyone," he added, addressing the government.
