DERA MURAD JAMALI: Pakistan Baitul Maal (PBM) managing director Aon Abbas Bappi distributed aid cheques in Dera Bugti on Sunday among disabled persons and the people who have been affected by terrorist activities over the past many years.

Wheelchairs were also distributed among the disabled persons.

Speaking on the occasion, MNA Nawabzada Shahzain Bugti said: “Basic purpose of my visit is to provide maximum possible help to the needy and poor people of the area.”

He said that the PBM was a social welfare organisation which helped poor and needy people in Pakistan.

Mr Bappi said that they had arrived in Dera Bugti on special instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

“The PBM significantly contributes to poverty alleviation through its various projects, including providing assistance to widows, orphans, destitute, disabled and other needy persons” he said. It provided financial assistance to the needy with emphasis on rehabilitation, he added.
