Two more shot dead in North Waziristan

NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Two more people fell victim to targeted killing in different areas here on Saturday, police said.

The first incident took place in Mubarak Shahi area near Mirali Town, when masked men riding a motorcycle opened fire on a pedestrian on Miramshah-Bannu Road. The deceased was identified as Abdul Hadi. His body was brought to the tehsil headquarters hospital, Mirali.

Also, a bullet-riddled body of a man was recovered in Mohammad Khel area of Datakhel tehsil. Relatives said Shamshal had gone missing five days ago. His body was thrown in a hilly area.

Five people, including two teenagers, have been killed apparently in the targeted attacks in the district during the last 48 hours. Three people were killed on Friday.
