KARACHI: A senior member of the National Assembly Standing Committee for Sports, Iqbal Mohammad Ali, has tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday.

“I have confined myself in isolation at my home after testing positive for coronavirus,” he said in a statement issued to the media.

Meanwhile the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) president retired Brig. Khalid Sajjad Khokar has prayed for the early recovery of Iqbal Mohammed Ali.

“He is a sincere and dedicated person and takes keen interest in promotion of sports in the country,” he said.

The PHF chief hoped that after recovery Iqbal Mohammad Ali will continue to play his positive role for the uplift of sports in the country.
