Goods train derails near Khanpur

KHANPUR, Sept 14:-Four wagons of a goods train derailed near Feroza, 20 kilometres from here, on Wednesday, suspending up-country rail traffic. However, no loss of life was reported.

According to railway police, the wagons of 4201-goods train derailed when it was on way to Lahore. As a result, 11-Up Chenab express and 13-Up Awam Express were halted at Sadiqabad and Rahim Yar Khan railway stations. The cause of derailment was yet to be ascertained.

A relief train was on way from Rohri to clear the track.—APP
