VEHARI, Sept 11: Three brothers shot dead their grandfather, grandmother and uncle on a piece of land at Chak 159/WB, Thingi area, some 20kms from here on Sunday. Reports said that Nazar Muhammad Nool had developed land dispute with his son Siddique a few days back. Nazar arranged his second marriage and wanted to sell his land to shift to a nearby village. Falling into a rage, three sons of Siddique — Nawaz, Mian Khan and Nawaz — reached the outhouse and shot dead their grandfather Nazar, grandmother Rani Bibi and uncle Allah Ditta (16) and escaped. Bodies of the deceased were sent to the local DHQ Hospital for post-mortem. The police arrested some relatives for investigation.

Thingi police have registered a case against the accused and are investigating.
