Bankers crush PWD

KARACHI, Sept 10: National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) thrashed Pakistan Works Department (PWD) 3-1 in the Premier League soccer at CDGK Stadium on Saturday. Farooq Shah opened the bankers’ account in the seventh minute followed by Mahmood who converted a spot kick in the 27th minute.

Aurangzaib banged home the third for the bankers in the 42nd minute on a foul kick.

PWD got consolation through a Ramzan penalty kick three minutes before time.

Sunday’s fixture: KPT v HBL at Aga Khan Gymkhana.
