Dr Tusneem made PARC chairman

ISLAMABAD, Sept 9: Dr Mohammad E. Tusneem, former director- general of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Manila, has been appointed the chairman of Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC). According to a statement issued here on Friday, Dr Tusneem holds a PhD degree in agronomy from the US and has over 35 years of working experience in some 30 countries of the Asia and Pacific region.

During this period, he had an intensive involvement in the national and international agricultural research system, including evaluation and funding of research proposals.—APP
