DERA GHAZI KHAN: Chief Minister Usman Buzdar arrived in Barthi on Tuesday and met tribal leaders and the general public at Buzdar House.

Mr Buzdar also paid a visit to the grave of his father, Sardar Fateh Muhammad, and offered fateha.

He also visited Katchiwanga and condoled with the family members over the demise of Malik Ahmed Khan. He performed dastarbandi of the son of the late Malik Ahmed Khan.

He said the previous rulers ignored backward areas and people’s problems of far-flung areas multiplied due to the wrong priorities of former rulers. Self-obsessed leaders launched projects for their self-projection which were of no use to the people.

He said the PTI government focused on the needs of the people and pursued the policy of equal and balanced development of every area. He said that his relations with the people have further strengthened. He said that public service was in his blood. Mr Buzdar said that he was determined to change the destiny of the people of the province. Local tribal people said the Mr Buzdar is a public leader in a true sense as he did not forget his area even after becoming the chief minister.

Mr Buzdar also visited Musakhail and Darug (native place of saint Shah Sulaiman Taunsvi) in Balochistan where he announced establishment of Rescue 1122 service, a Nadra office and the provision of buses to a local college as a token of love for the people of the area adjacent to Punjab.
