LARKANA: Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has appealed to people to celebrate Eid at home and observe standard operating procedures while going out for Eid prayers.

He said in a video message released on Saturday that the nation should celebrate Eid with simplicity as Eid had arrived this year amid Covid-19 pandemic and the latest tragedy of plane crash in Karachi.

He asked people to dedicate their Eid this year to doctors, nurses and all health workers who were real heroes, risking their own lives to save lives of fellow human beings.

He said that governments of major Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran, UAE and Turkey had also bound their citizens to perform Eid prayers at home and appealed to Pakistanis to perform Eid prayers at home to protect their lives and lives of their loved ones. By doing so, health system would also not be overburdened, he said.
