The interior ministry has directed the provinces to implement the decisions taken regarding standard operating procedures (SOPs) to be followed during Eid holidays and after last week's relaxation of the coronavirus lockdown.
According to the communique issued by the ministry:
- The SOPs announced for Taraweeh and congregational prayers during Ramazan will remain applicable for the last 10 days of Ramazan and Eidul Fitr prayers
- People violating the post-lockdown SOPs may be "sternly dealt with" as per the law
- No procession of any kind during the last ashra of Ramazan and on Youm-i-Ali will be allowed.
