Karachi police chief Ghulam Nabi Memon said that all officials have been provided with personal protective equipment to eliminate the risk of them contracting Covid-19.
In a statement, he said that police officials were still adamant on performing their duties despite the virus. "Our jawans are working on the frontlines with honesty," he said.
He added that three policemen have died due to the virus while 119 have been infected so far. "Ten have been discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment," he said.
